Up the street

As I mentioned the other day, Kaiden likes to go to the school up the street. It's easy peasy before nap time or after dinner, just to walk up there and get some energy out. He loves it!

This is the day we discovered the "house" that we probably aren't allowed to play on. ;-) Before that though, him and Kev were playing around with the basketball. My little man can dunk with the best of them.

When they were playing, the basketball rolled off the blacktop and down by the school. The boys went to fetch it..

Kaiden was pretty proud of himself =)

I guess it was so much fun that he decided to throw the ball back down there once they made it back to the top. This time Kevin let him go get it by himself..

Yay! Still so fun that he did it again and again and again and again!!

It was too cute to see how determined he was getting that ball back up the hill! Here's how productive I was during the whole thing... ;-)

Eventually, he got tired and was trying to kick the ball up the hill, but it kept rolling back down. =( So, I went to help. That's when he discovered the "house"...Kev might have mentioned that we probably weren't allowed in the fenced area, but I'm a rule breaker limit pusher and it was unlocked (luckily, b/c if the gate was locked I probably would have just thrown the kid over just to see him smile =), so what the heck...

I have a feeling this will be a favorite spot this summer!!
