Summer Evenings

Although it's technically not summer yet, the weather sure feels like it!

Last night when I got home from work, the fam was outside playing with bubbles. Kaiden had already eaten dinner, so I made a wrap with chips and lemonade and enjoyed it outside while watching the munchkin play. After that, I had him come around front to help me water the flowers. He loves having control of that hose and had a good time spraying me and Jo with it! While he sprayed and laughed, I picked some weeds. Then, we went on an impromptu walk around the neighborhood and enjoyed splashing in the puddles. I eventually convinced him to head back home with the promise of smores. We heated up some marshmellows and smooshed away!
Yummmmm!

He enjoyed a few bites, but really only wanted the chocolate ..."mama, rip it..riiiiiipppp iiiittttt!!!" he would say yell as he was trying to convince me to open another pack of hersey's. =)

He eventually settled for some graham crackers while stealing sips of my lemonade to wash it down.

I was feeling the summer evening stickiness and enjoyed a dip in the pool with the hubs while Kaiden enjoyed playing in the yard. We ended the night with a warm bath, snuggles and family reading by Kaiden's bedside with light coming in from the hallway.

Ahhhhhhh, it was surely a perfect summer evening.
