Happy Birthday, Sweet Boy!

You are two today, sweet boy. You are sitting on the couch snuggling with JoJo right now counting along to Seasame Street. You are SO smart! You know your basic shapes. You like to point out all the triangles you see while we drive. You know all of your basic colors, too. Sometimes you get purple and red mixed up, but like to point something else out in those colors to prove that you DO know the difference. I love that about you! You also know just about all of your capital letters also. No thanks to me or dad, though. I'll have to give credit to your awesome fridge game that we got you for Christmas for that one! Either way, you're the one who really deserves all the credit because you listen, really listen. You pick up on things so fast. It blows my mind that you can hear us say a word once and you will use it later in the correct way. You never forget, either. You easily memorize shows, places and the way things are supposed to be done. You are a creature of habit, like most two year olds. You like things done in a certain way and have no problem expressing your dislike when things are done wrong. You are stubborn like your mama. I'll never forget the morning you fought with me for an hour over one bite of banana. And after all was said and done you ended up eating the whole thing anyway. Niiiice, bud. LOL. But it surely gave me a taste of my own medicine! You love to draw. You like to draw your family and favorite characters. You love to have us draw them, too. You can dance like nobody's business. You like to go crazy, jump high and shake your booty! It's not a real party, though, unless everyone is dancing. You don't like to leave anyone out. I hope you always keep that trait, it's a rare one to have. You are sensitive. You don't like when we raise our voice (whether at the dogs, each other or just talking super loud in general). You will put your hand over our mouth while saying our name. Sometimes, followed by a shhhhh. I don't blame ya, we can get pretty annoying, huh? ;-) You are not pushy with other kids and usually don't mind sharing. You are sensitive to others feelings and are always concerned when you see or hear another kid cry. You love to play outside. We search for animals, play ball, swing and slide, run up and down the hill, draw with chalk, blow bubbles, take walks, water the flowers and so much more. I can't wait to see what other activities come this summer! You're a snuggler. You like to snuggle in the morning while you drink your milk and watch Gabba. You like to snuggle at night when you first get into bed. Sometimes you like when I sing or tell you who's in your family. You have a laugh that could light up the whole world. It's contagious. I don't think one person could hear you laugh and not do the same. You crack yourself up, too. Just today, while we were driving in the car, you were pointing out things you saw out the window. You would say "tree" and JoJo and I would repeat and then you would crack up and say "trees funny"...and then call yourself a "silly goose!" You are TOO much! I love your personality and how much you've grown. I hope this year is everything you could ever imagine it to be. Your dada and I love you soooooo much! Thank you for loving us these past two years. They have been the best years EVER!!
