Never give a kid with diarrhea...

A muffin and orange juice!!!

Thursday morning Kaiden woke up and had a huge blowout in bed. After I got him all cleaned up, he seemed as happy as can be. We decided to have a special treat at the "coffee shop" that morning.

He wanted a "big muffin" and I decided to get him orange juice for the Vitamin C since he had a bit of a cold.

On the way home he said "thanks mama, I like it!" and it melted my heart so.

Not soon after we were done with our treat, he went from above to screaming bloody murder! =(

He said his stomach was hurting and it was hurting so bad that he was scratching his it. So much that it bled. =( =(

I finally got  him in the bath (after I called Kev and ordered him to call Kaiden's doc asap) and he just sat there like this for a good 20 minutes.

It was so sad! It brought me back to the time he was an infant and got really sick and had a very high fever and Kev sat on the bath and held our shaking baby. My heart ached so bad for him and I felt so hopeless.

Turns out, after talking with his doc, juice is BAD for diarrhea and I just pumped him full of OJ. I felt horrible and immediately wrote a note card with the do's and dont's so I never make that mistake again.

We spent the rest of the day and 3 days after giving him the B.R.A.T. diet and sticking to it. He's doing much better now, thank goodness!

On a lighter note, Kaiden got his Halloween costume and wore it the whole weekend!

6 weeks & sitting on the potty

Yesterday marked 6 weeks since my surgery!!! Since that means I now have "good" scar tissue, I celebrated by picking up Kaiden! =)

here we are as superheroes looking for spiders =P
(p.s. I don't know why my eyebrows look so bushy..I swear they are plucked! Maybe this is why I used to pluck them so thin..ha!)

In more exciting news, before Kaiden's bath last night, he SAT on the potty to go pee pee. Not that we want him to sit to go pee pee, but SITTING on the potty is HUGE!!! We'll hopefully see a underweared (is that a word?) booty on here soon! =)

Homely

Fall makes me feel homely. I love Fall. I love it so much that if we have a little girl, I'd probably name her Autumn.

If Fall makes us feel homely, homely makes us want to hang to with Granny, Mimi, Great-Grandparents, Aunts and cousins..right?

sleeping in "kaiden's room" at Toots and Jr.'s
 cousin Anabelle
cousin Colin - Kaiden said "baby play wi' my toys!" lol
 My boys with cousin Kaylee
This is the best pic I could get of Kaiden and Mimi. He did not stop moving while visiting her for 4 hours straight. No lie! =)
And for those of us that can't hang with all those great people because she's a bit homebound, she gets homely by hanging her child's art work...right?
 Mmmhmm.

I love Fall and with all this homely also comes Halloween and we've already decorated. =)
Skeletons, pumpkins, ghosts and witches. I love it all! I can't wait to finalize Kaiden's costume (secretly hoping it's something I can make). Once that's done it's only a matter of time until I'm holding his hand, walking through the neighborhood and giggling at him saying trick-or-treat for some yummies.
Ahhh...there is seriously nothing better than Fall.

Happy Fall, Y'all!
