Little Mr.

You may not be able to tell from this sweet photo that our little Mr. Kaiden is a wild, expressive, opinionated, boundary-pushing child.

Just to give you a little taste, here are 2 texts I received from Jordan today:

Kaiden thinks he is spider man, he is climbing all over the table lol

and

Lol he is silly and then I said u want a cheese sandwich and he said yes and then I said are u going to eat it and he said no i'm going to spit it out lol

I wouldn't have it any other way!! =)

Happy 4th of July!!!

BTW, I deemed myself a very cool mama b/c I let him go home with that horn you see in his hands. That thing has made me jump a few times and he likes to chase the dogs around with it. ha ha ha.
...and here's my pretty jacked up but if you don't look too close for too long it's ok & fun, patriotic pedi.

God Bless America!!!!!!!!!!!! Love ya!

Happy Friday!

It's 5 o'clock somewhere, right?!? ;-)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yesterday, Kaiden threw a fit at the shoe store b/c he didn't want his feet measured.

He screamed and cried when I put on his new shoes for a good 20 minutes.

I made him walk from the car to the house in his socks and didn't give in when he said over and over "mama carry me"

He was a little too happy when he successfully made it over the mulch in just in socks and then ate his snack on the steps while soaking up his victory.

Then he napped and so did I.

Before bed later that night, he had a straight up battle with Kevin (the most patient person in the WHOLE world, btw) over cutting his nails and nope, to our surprise, Kaiden never gave in. lol.

He's so his mother's son.

This morning, oh this morning, when I was changing him, he gave me the biggest hug and squeezed my arms real tight and said "miss you mama"

I melted.

Then, magically, all the little hiccups from yesterday suddenly disappeared.

Not that I was ever mad at him. I just feel so bad for him when he gets that upset and truly, it exhausts me.

And him.

But, this morning, man. Wow!

He filled my love cup right up to the top and it was overflowing.

And instead of getting ready for work right away, I let him pick out his clothes and snuggled with him on the couch just because he wanted me to. And lets face it,

I usually always give in to snuggle time.

So, yes, a Happy Friday indeed!
