Exquisite!

We've had some chilly mornings here recently, so I tried on Kaiden's pants from last year. The shirts fit, but the pants were a no-go. Old Navy is having their baby sale right now, so I went and got him some pants. While I was there I saw some really cute rain boots, too. He was asking for boots the night before and I took that as my perfect excuse to splurge a little (ha! who am I kidding??..I had a 40% off coupon =). Anyways, he LOVES his new boots and wore them all night. He also sported his new potty watch. Monday his teacher told us that he sat on the potty and tried to poo. We took that very seriously and went out and got him a potty watch that I read about in a magazine. ha! You can set it to 30, 60 or 90 minutes and it plays music to remind you to try to go potty. I'm hoping it's the motivation he needs to get this train going.

While I was making dinner last night, Kaiden was watching Sesame Street. There was a little skit on the word exquisite. Later that night while he was drawing, he said he was drawing "exquisite" ha ha. It was the cutest thing I've ever heard and he kept saying the word all night. Here's a little clip..

And for all those mama's who worry about their kids watching tv, just remember it's about quality & quantity. A one hour show and your 2 1/2 year old saying the word exquisite is good use of those two things. If I may say so myself. =)
