Goose is THIS many!!

Goose turned one!! Can you believe it? I still can't. His birthday went great..ya know, besides him crying half the time! ;) Supposedly, this happens a lot on 1st birthdays?? I never knew. I guess babies are too overwhelmed with all of the excitement. Ooohh the things parents do to their kids! But, regardless, I think he had a great time! He received awesome gifts, got to try cake and rice krispy treats for the first time and, most importantly, got to spend time with family!!

First Bloom!

I'm so excited!! I went out to water my flowers this evening and discovered that I ACTUALLY have a bloom!!! Whoohooo! This is so awesome! Lets hope I have many more to come!!

Aunt B & Uncle C Visit!!

We were very lucky to have Aunt B and Uncle C visit for Goose's birthday! It was so awesome having them here and they bonded extremely well with Goose. He absolutely adored them and misses them very much!! I know he can't wait to visit in August!!

Sooo, for those who don't know, Kado is extremely protective. When Aunt B visited just after Goose was born, Kado made sure she was no threat to our very new baby, Goose. Every time she walked out of the room and walked back in, Kado acted like he had never met her before. I also had to HAND Goose to Aunt B. Kado would not allow her to bend down and get him herself.

Anyways, Kado is a bad you know what. Or, at least he thinks his is. Aunt B and Uncle C got in late due to flight delays. Well, the next morning I wanted them to be able to bond with Goose. I knew Kiki would be cool, but I decided to leave Kado outside until Goose was comfortable. When I decided to finally let Kado in, he didn't even let out a bark at our new visitors. WTF?? This was not a dog I knew. He jumped right up on Uncle C's lap and proceeded to be a GREAT boy throughout the weekend!!!

Let me present Uncle C...the dog whisperer:

Goose had so much fun with his Auntie and Uncle. He had a GREAT time at the park on the ONLY nice day during the visit. Yeah, I don't have pics of that...Aunt B..don't forget to send those to me!!! :) But, I did manage to get a few pics of him enjoying other moments throughout the weekend. Here is Goose discovering bubbles with Aunt B. He thought it was hilarious!!

And, of course, Goose charmed Aunt B & Uncle C so much that he got to play with his bday gifts a day early!!! I can't blame them, he was playing with the ones from mama and dada for a week! haha.

We miss you two SO much!!! Love you to pieces!!! Thanks for coming to visit for a VERY special occasion!!

Birthday pics to come....

Spaghetti, vaseline, apples, jayhawks, snow ..and uhh, tampons??

So, I haven't posted pics of Goose in awhile..and, seriously, I need to catch up!!

So, yeah, he tried spaghetti for the first time!! :)

He seemed to enjoy it for the most part. The crazy thing was that he picked all the hamburger out. He doesn't usually prefer hamburger, but I guess with spaghetti sauce, it's pretty tasty!!

It was so funny one morning when Goose decided that his vaseline was super important. He held it the majority of the morning....even through breakfast. Silly Goose! He has since become totally obsessed with his vaseline and butt cream (as we like to call it). I guess anything he can chew on is fantabulous in his book!

Yeah, so the other day when we were sharing an apple, Goose decided he didn't want to share any longer. He demanded the apple from my hands and proceeded to eat it like a big boy for the next 45 minutes!! And trust, when he dropped it on the floor and I rinsed it to get rid of the dust/dog hair...he totally had a fit about it! Wow!..I no longer have to cut/steam his apples! Whoohooo...Goose is such a big boy!

Ok, and I so have to mention, although we didn't win the championship this year (like we did last year) we are still supportive fans!..and ALWAYS will be! Rock chalk baby, rock chalk!

Yeah, so we all know Spring has officially started..right? So, tell me why it fricken snowed last weekend!! Mmmmhmmm. Not cool Mother Nature, not cool at all!!

Last, but not least...one phrase:

"Tampons! Tampons! Get your tampons!!"

And, yes, I totally let him entertain himself with my tampons because (as mommies know) anything that entertains these "little monsters" is quite a blessing!! Tampon on Goose, tampon on!!

Craigslist Ban

McDreamy just informed that I am currently banned from craigslist.

I am meeting a woman in the morning to buy 5 little tikes trucks.

I'm only paying $15!

Sneak Peak!

Ok, so Goose's bday outfit is AWESOME! We ended up going to 4 different stores. Eeekkk! But, it was totally worth it! To me, at least. Too bad the size ended up being too big. I guess Goose isn't as plump as Mama thought! ;) Thank goodness the store has a smaller size so I can exchange them. And, yes, I had them hold them for me. I just can't take any chances! Here is a sneak peak..

I also scored some awesome toys on craigslist.com! I'm all about getting the big toys used all of a sudden. These are in great condition and I saved A LOT of money!

I got this one for $15. I checked amazon.com and supposedly this is a collectible and is going for $299 new!! WTF?? I don't know, but I say I got a pretty good deal. ;)

This one I got for $20, which is originally $45 at toysrus!! Yay!!..another GREAT deal!

Oh, how I love you craigslist, let me count the ways...
